HELPFUL TIPS & THINGS TO KNOW!

If You Are Staying Downtown:

Kansas City has a free streetcar that runs a 2-ish mile loop north and south on Main street in downtown KC (River Market to Union Station). It’s a fun and convenient way to explore the downtown. It comes about every 10 minutes, and you can track its location online.

If You Are Staying in Briarcliffe at The Marriott:

During the holidays, this is a cute little area. There are a couple of shops and boutiques across the way, and some solid restaurants: Trezo Mare, Piropo's.

Joe’s KC (formerly Oklahoma Joe’s, and both Kevin and Kelsey's favorite BBQ in kc), Arthur Bryant’s, Q39, Slap’s BBQ, Jack Stack, Gate’s, Pigwich.

Joe’s KC, Arthur Bryant’s and Gate’s are arguably what led the “Go to Kansas City for BBQ movement” and have been around forever, but every BBQ restaurant in KC has great BBQ – you can’t go wrong!
